Join the Hive!
There are many forums on the internet, that are either for support, or are for people with similar interests. I have always wondered why people would want to join so many, and no offense to any of them but I feel that sometimes they become over-whelming. Some of many rules, ones that have more of a club like feel, they can take a lot of time up.
I recently joined the Quilting Bee. A pixeling club which their main focus to to learn and create friends. A lot of people don’t realize that it isn’t how you pixel, its about how you can intereact with the hive and how you can contribute to the club. If you will bring a good vibe and feeling.
A nice feature about this club is there are many ways to interact other than a forum or trading patches. You can enter contests and join activities, as well as vote for others, and there is even a chat.
Another positive part of the club is anyone can help out, as long as you are committed. There are many different roles in the club.
